Requirements
  • Experience working in a luxury hospitality or guest experience environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Must have a flexible work schedule and be willing to work outside of 9-5 hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be willing to fly.
  • Must be able to report to the station base as assigned within 120 minutes.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and perform fast-paced movement.
  • Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to kneel, bend, carry, and assist around the aircraft.
  • Must be a United States Citizen or have the legal right to live and work in the United States.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Ability to operate to foreign countries and meet foreign country requirements for the company route structure.
  • Must pass Department of Transportation pre-employment and random drug testing for safety-sensitive positions as defined in 14 Code of Federal Regulations part 120.
  • Complete training and maintain certifications as a Ground Security Coordinator and Customer Service Representative.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a cabin host onboard to deliver a premium guest experience on all scheduled and charter flights operating in and out of the Van Nuys base.
  • Serve as a lounge host by welcoming guests, handling luggage collection, tagging, and weighing, and using the check-in system.
  • Conduct Transportation Security Administration required screening and coordinate with Fixed-Base Operator personnel to ensure on-time departures.
  • Ensure guest safety, comfort, and service excellence from lounge arrival through inflight service and disembarkation.
  • Provide professional inflight hospitality including streamlined food and beverage service.
  • Prepare the aircraft cabin prior to departure by ensuring cleanliness, proper setup, and stocking of onboard supplies.
  • Perform post-flight cabin reset and offloading of supplies.
  • Communicate with guests to handle concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborate with pilots, ground operations, and airport partners to support on-time departures and safe operations.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements including the Twelve-Five Standard Security Program.
  • Maintain knowledge of menus, inflight offerings, service partners, schedules, and onboard technology systems.
  • Collect and share guest feedback to improve service and operations.
  • Participate in the Daymaker program to create personalized moments for guests.
