- A Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program is required.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.
- Must be eligible for or able to obtain licensure in Vermont.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team is required.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care is required.
- Conduct patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Assist in diagnosing and managing urologic conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract disorders, prostate conditions, and male reproductive health issues.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
- Assist with minor procedures and follow-up care when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Prior clinical experience in urology, surgery, or a related specialty.
- Experience with outpatient clinical care and procedural support.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.
