Requirements
  • A Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program is required.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.
  • Must be eligible for or able to obtain licensure in Vermont.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team is required.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care is required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Assist in diagnosing and managing urologic conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract disorders, prostate conditions, and male reproductive health issues.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
  • Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
  • Assist with minor procedures and follow-up care when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior clinical experience in urology, surgery, or a related specialty.
  • Experience with outpatient clinical care and procedural support.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.
