Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or a related field.
  • 7 to 10+ Years professional experience in energy and contracts management in a field construction setting.
  • Detailed knowledge of contract agreements, legal requirements involved in contracts, compensation methods, invoicing and change order processes required.
  • Able to effectively communicate across various disciplines and with contract counterparties.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to spot issues and risks and escalate when appropriate.
  • Excellent writing skills, including drafting of simple legal documents.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage commercially sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with team members and take direction in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate visible leadership and commitment to HSSE performance.
  • Manage, analyze, prepare and log all contract-related correspondence and notices with the EPC contractors, suppliers and subcontractors and monitor compliance with contracts.
  • Ensure strict discipline to contractual requirements for administration, claims and change orders. Work closely with the relevant project stakeholders to finalize change order documentation.
  • Monitor contract deadlines and deliverables.
  • Adhere to the prescribed contract processes for correspondence and change management.
  • Ensures the primary contractor, monitors its subcontractors and suppliers performance and acts quickly on underperformance.
  • Drives the site contracts to support the delivery of the project within the contractual terms.
  • Reviews contractor work planning and ensures it is the most efficient and effective approach and challenges when appropriate.
  • Communicates regularly project status to Management and Project stakeholders.
  • Coordinates with various Corporate and Technical functions.
