Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience is required, including at least 2 years of direct, accountable experience making and influencing supply chain decisions within hospitals or health systems.
  • Experience participating in supply chain governance, including value analysis, capital approval, or executive supply chain forums, is required.
  • Hands-on sourcing, procurement, and standardization execution experience is required.
  • Experience owning financially measurable outcomes, including validated savings, utilization performance, and compliance, is required.
  • Ability to translate supply chain data and system insights into actions and executive-level narratives is required.
  • Ability to own portfolio account strategy and governance rhythms, anticipate risks and opportunities, and adjust roadmaps is required.
  • Ability to lead multi-category sequencing and prioritization tied to client objectives and measurable improvement is required.
  • Ability to establish durable executive relationships, expand the stakeholder footprint, and increase engagement is required.

Responsibilities
  • Own and actively maintain client spend management account plans, including roadmaps, priorities, stakeholder maps, success measures, and activation cadences.
  • Lead the development and execution of account plans, project plans, and workplans by facilitating collaboration between client stakeholders and company resources.
  • Engage client leadership on challenges across non-labor spend categories using healthcare supply chain trends and leading practices.
  • Lead category workplan initiatives through opportunity identification, stakeholder alignment, execution, adoption and compliance monitoring, and value validation.
  • Navigate client governance to secure decisions and drive adoption of standardization and utilization changes.
  • Ensure category strategies reflect procurement, inventory and distribution implications, and clinical workflow impact.
  • Interpret company insights and intelligence, align findings to client priorities, and lead delivery teams in recommending category initiatives and sequencing workplans.
  • Own value realization for spend roadmaps by defining targets, tracking progress, and ensuring savings are validated.
  • Establish and maintain benefits tracking for savings, compliance, utilization, and operational outcomes, and communicate results through business reviews.
  • Partner with contracting and category resources to drive contract performance and utilization improvement.
  • Deliver value propositions and decision-enabling narratives that drive adoption of company tools and services, and present benefits and return on investment to executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Lead executive decision-making discussions that establish priorities, governance commitments, and accountability.
  • Tailor executive narratives to connect spend initiatives to enterprise priorities such as margin, access, capacity, safety, and risk.
  • Build and sustain C-suite relationships and co-lead executive business reviews with Enterprise Principals where applicable.
  • Identify issues, analyze options, drive risk-mitigating solutions, remove barriers, accelerate provider outcomes, and manage account escalations.
  • Translate complex spend, utilization, and category performance analytics into narratives that influence decisions and drive adoption.
  • Equip internal subject-matter experts and stakeholders with executive-ready insights and materials.
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with supply chain and cross-functional provider stakeholders across spend management categories.
  • Conduct quarterly spend management business reviews or project reviews to communicate progress, value delivered, and next opportunities.
  • Lead biweekly internal delivery meetings and ensure delivery integration across subject-matter experts on progress, risks, and next steps.
  • Establish and enforce delivery standards covering meeting cadence, data representation, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and internal alignment.
  • Maintain customer relationship management records for the assigned territory, including contacts, opportunities, bookings, and account plan updates.
  • Identify and shape account expansion opportunities by connecting client priorities to additional capabilities and partnering with enterprise and sales teams on the value case and scope.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Team and Spend Management Performance Partners on renewal execution, including modeling, upsells, scope approvals, statements of work, and invoicing support.
  • Provide mentorship across the delivery team, set the cultural tone, and promote cross-team collaboration and consistent delivery practices.
