Requirements
  • At least 12 years of HRBP and/or HR experience
  • Experience working in a Financial Services or Fintech company in the last 5 years
  • Outstanding people skills with high emotional intelligence and exceptional empathy
  • Comfortable coaching executives and delivering feedback
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and skilled at sequencing competing priorities quickly
Responsibilities
  • Consult with the leadership team and work closely with the broader People Team to execute HR strategies
  • Drive global HR functional excellence and process improvement
  • Provide strategic partnership and counsel to the Carta executive leadership team
  • Develop and drive the People strategy to meet aggressive business goals
  • Partner with the business to execute on key People initiatives
  • Provide guidance and input on workforce planning, succession planning, compensation, promotions, lateral transfers, leveling, and benchmarking
  • Build strong relationships with employees, management, and the leadership team
  • Act as an employee champion and change agent, proactively communicating needs with the broader People team and senior leadership
  • Successfully influence others by providing direction, knowledge, and support to create a high-performing organization
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Ensure proactive compliance with all labor, wage, and health and safety laws
  • Provide coaching to the business and help set the People priorities
  • Oversee and drive global and local consistency by collaborating with the head of ER to manage and resolve employee relations issues
