Pay Range:
$32.58 - $48.87
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Philanthropy Officer to join our team. The Philanthropy Officer is responsible for the identification, qualification, cultivation and solicitation of a defined portfolio of Major Gift prospects for defined ministry or market fundraising opportunities along with Hospital Sisters of St. Francis (HSSFF) system priorities. This role will personally engage donors, community leaders, physicians and caregivers, department leaders and other volunteers in the fundraising process.

INTERNET SPEED REQUIREMENTS:
• Download speeds must be at least 20 Mb or higher. (100 Mb or higher is preferred.)
• Upload speeds must be at least 6 Mb or higher. (10 Mb or higher is preferred.)
• Latency/Ping must be under 100 ms. (Under 60 ms is preferred.)
Education Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Philanthropic Studies, Business, Finance or related field is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus 5 years related experience in communications, marketing, sales, wealth management, or fundraising may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
Experience Qualifications- 3 years experience in planning and execution of donor/client solicitation or new business activities is required (This experience is in addition to experience used in lieu of degree).
- Experience with fundraising and data management systems is required. Raiser's Edge experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with moves management process, including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship is preferred.
