Requirements
  • Engineering evaluations and maintenance tracking experience for United States Navy surface ships and submarines.
  • 10 years of shipboard hull, mechanical, and electrical experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with naval engineering tracking metrics, technical writing, and system validation procedures.
  • Ability to execute physical shipboard surveys or technical documentation audits in accordance with assigned division protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret naval technical documentation, including NSIs, NSTMs, drawings, and other technical documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to attend Technical Authority Training within three months of hire.
  • Familiarity with Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual requirements.
  • Ability to use clear and concise oral and written communications.
  • Must possess and maintain an active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to comply with all safety and environmental requirements.
  • Resume and candidacy are subject to customer approval, acceptance, and completion of the required background check.
Responsibilities
  • Provide critical technical assistance for the United States Navy.
  • Provide clerical support and record keeping.
  • Perform financial management and contract oversight.
  • Assist with audits and inspections.
  • Provide Human Resources services.
  • Support DFS adjudication.
  • Provide contract management oversight.
  • Support Critical Work Certification and Work Complete Certification.
  • Support Engineering Service Requests.
  • Provide fleet technical assistance.
  • Perform assessments, including Integrated Class Maintenance Plans, Total Ship Readiness Assessments, Type Commander material inspections, and Board of Inspection and Survey assessments.
  • Create Material Assessment Findings and report them to the cognizant Assessment Director after completing Total Ship Readiness Assessment tasks.
