Requirements
  • A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, construction inspection, field operations, or related construction services roles.
  • Experience managing complex construction projects involving contractor oversight, schedule management, budgeting, quality assurance and quality control coordination, and client communication.
  • Strong understanding of construction administration, project controls, field documentation, operational workflows, and construction sequencing.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, field personnel, subcontractors, clients, and external stakeholders across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with construction management and project tracking platforms such as Ajera, Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and related operational systems.
Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day construction services projects, ensuring work remains on schedule, within budget, aligned with project controls requirements, and responsive to client expectations.
  • Coordinate and oversee project staff, field inspection personnel, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to support efficient project execution and quality assurance.
  • Monitor project financial performance, staffing allocation, resource utilization, project variance, and profitability metrics while supporting corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain client relationships and support business development efforts through responsive communication, operational support, and participation in proposals and opportunity development activities.
  • Support staff development, operational workflows, project controls compliance, mentoring, training, and quality assurance and quality control procedures and best practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting public infrastructure, utility, municipal, commercial, industrial, or federal construction projects.
  • Experience with project financial management, including budgets, utilization, work in progress, accounts receivable, variance, and profitability tracking.
  • Professional Engineer license and/or construction management certifications.

Tony brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in the utility industry, most recently in senior leadership roles with South Jersey Industries and Elizabethtown Gas.
