- A Master’s degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area is required.
- Professional licensure as an LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate, or LMSW under clinical supervision is required.
- Full licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to travel to clients’ homes and potentially transport multiple clients.
- Must live within a 30–45 minute travel time from the designated service area.
- Provide direct clinical treatment using the Multisystemic Therapy treatment model and principles.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients and families, gathering information about behaviors of concern, family strengths, and the family’s ecological context.
- Engage primary caregivers, family members, supports, and community agency staff in change-oriented treatment.
- Perform weekly case planning and evaluate case progress with support from supervisors and team members.
- Participate in ongoing training, professional development, supervision, and consultation to develop clinical skills within the Multisystemic Therapy model.
- Ensure, with fellow clinicians, that clients have access to support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week as needed.
- Direct experience using pragmatic family therapies, including structural, strategic, and functional family therapies.
- Experience providing therapy to children and adults using cognitive-behavioral techniques.
- Experience providing couples therapy using behaviorally based approaches.
- Experience implementing interventions within or between systems in a youth’s natural ecology, including family, peer, school, and neighborhood systems.
- Experience collaborating and partnering with community agencies.
- Previous experience providing in-home or community-based therapy services.
- Comfort working with a diverse community of clients.
- Knowledge of the types of families in the community.
