THE OPPORTUNITY

Job Title: IT Project Manager

CONTEXT: 

Our IT department is in charge of the rollout, evolution and maintenance of Ivalua Cloud which hosts the environments of all our customers across the world. With over 50 global team members (EMEA, AMER, APAC) covering the IT infrastructure, Cloud computing, internal IT support, IT security and client applications support, the team keeps expanding to sustain the company’s strong business growth.

 ROLE: 

In such a context, we are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage technology projects from initiation to completion in a challenging technology & business driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background (infrastructure, security, etc.), be proficient in project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US 

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure project execution aligns with project goals.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
• Ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices in project management.
• Collaborate with the global IT project management team and work with the other PMs worldwide

YOUR PROFILE

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience with proven skills in IT.
• Background in IT, especially in Infrastructure (server, datacenter, network, security) with ideally some experience as system/network administrator and looking to work in a dynamic technology environment and good understanding of Security
• At least 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Familiarity with the main project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge in software development, scripting & automation is a plus.
• Knowledge of budgeting, IT procurement, vendor management is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

The salary range for this position is based upon careful and continual market compensation research. In addition to location, salary may also vary based upon job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Title: IT Project Manager

Base range minimum: $71,250

Base range maximum: $118,750

*Additional compensation / rewards: In addition to the base salary information above, Ivalua offers an uncapped commission plan as part of the competitive compensation package. Other compensation factors may also be considered. Ivalua also offers exceptional benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement (with company match), and much more.
