Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development, in health care industry OR consulting OR Master/Professional Degree and 4 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry OR consulting OR 7 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.
  • Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills; strong oral, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to accept direction and feedback.
  • Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
  • Experience managing complex corporate projects in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities
  • supporting National Networks Strategy and Oversight with a focus on member steerage and navigation through physician level performance measurement, tiered benefit offerings and Blue Distinction Centers of Excellence.
  • assist in leading network strategy development, program performance evaluations, and oversight of business functions required to enhance existing steerage solutions.
  • developing an understanding of Large Group client needs and client-specific network strategies, this role will support National Networks membership growth.
  • influencing recommended program changes by analyzing and presenting clinical and cost effectiveness metrics to cross-functional leadership and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
