Automated Trade Solutions Expert - Global Legal Function REMOTE EMEA

Your Assignments:

In the role of Automated Trade Solutions Expert you are part of the highly technical Global Trade Governance team. You are actively involved in the FMC global roll-out project of SAP GTS edition for HANA. . You are the expert for highly technical customs and foreign trade applications as part of an end-to-end controlled process. You will introduce new IT functionalities and processes and will be part of a team of experts. You also enjoy teamwork in an international environment.

Tasks and Activities:

• Definition and implementation of customs and foreign trade processes within the IT landscape based on business requirements;
• Support with technical definitions and implementation of logics and methods in SAP GTS and ECC;
• Active participation in the global migration project to SAP GTS edition for HANA;
• Preparation and implementation of workshops, trainings and tests;
• Internal advisor for customs and foreign trade transactions;
• Participation in meetings, workshops, etc.;
• Process documentation and regular review of presentations and user manuals;
• Provide assistance to internal and external audits;
• Occasional willingness to travel.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in IT, business administration, business informatics or an equivalent degree with a focus on international trade processes. Advanced degree highly desirable.

• 7-12 years of professional experience in customs and foreign trade or closely related SAP automation focused role.

• Sound experience in SAP GTS and its interfaces to ECC (SD and MM), including technical and operational support for SAP GTS and support in the customization of SAP GTS;
• Experience in SAP ABAP programming and debugging.
• Ideally experience in SAP GTS Edition for HANA implementation.
• Ideally experience in IT project and change request management, functional implementation of SAP GTS

• Relevant experience in international IT process template rollouts.
• Knowledge of common customs procedures (Import (ATLAS), Export (AES) and NCTS), knowledge of preferential calculation, sanctions list screening as well as import and export controls.

• Personal dedication to the demanding task, detail orientation and quality focus as adherence to deadlines.
• Motivated team player with a high degree of proactivity and personal responsibility.
• Experience in dealing with databases and analytical thinking.
• Good presentation and communication skills.

• Good perceptual and comprehension skills, complemented by an understanding of complex contexts and a structured and systematic approach to solve problems.
• Strong MS Office, SAP-GTS, SAP-ECC, JIRA skills required.
• Fluency in the English language (spoken and written) is Required. Additional langue (German, Spanish) is desirable.
