Technical Writer SME

The Opportunity:

As a Technical Writer SME, you’ll bring your expertise to work on projects for USCYBERCOM. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and implement solutions for our client.

You’ll guide the work we do for this unique mission area and the solutions we deliver for our Nation’s cyberspace mission.

You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience as a technical writer

• Ability to work in a team

• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.

• Bachelor’s degree in English or Business

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with using Microsoft Office

• Experience recommending and developing a variety of technical documentation based on client needs

• Knowledge of DoD requirements for manuals and written materials

• Ability to perform reviews and assure the quality of all written deliverables in support of a wide range of customer requirements

• Ability to ensure the production of clear documents that guide and educate the reader, and apply expertise in client delivery process, tradecraft, and intelligence standards

• Possession of excellent communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
