Requirements
  • The candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
  • The candidate must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that aligns with the company's safety standards.
  • The candidate must complete a satisfactory background check and drug screen.
  • The candidate must have at least one year of applicable experience in commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently.
  • The candidate must be able to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot equipment; automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical experience is a plus.
  • A journeyman license and/or Commercial Food Equipment Service Association certification is a plus.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • The candidate must have strong communication skills.
  • The candidate must have a good driving record.
  • The candidate must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds frequently, and more than 100 pounds occasionally with assistance.
  • The candidate must be able to perform repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and ladder climbing.
  • The candidate must be able to travel extensively each day to work-site locations.
  • The candidate must be able to work in environments involving hot grease and high temperatures.
  • The candidate must participate in an on-call weekend rotation.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration, or heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
  • Communicate repair status updates with customers and the branch office.
  • Communicate parts orders with the branch.
  • Complete service calls accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
  • Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to company standards and safety requirements.
  • Meet on-call requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • A journeyman license and/or Commercial Food Equipment Service Association certification.
  • Automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical experience.
