- The candidate must be able to travel extensively each day to work-site locations.
- The candidate must be able to work in environments involving hot grease and high temperatures.
- The candidate must participate in an on-call weekend rotation.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration, or heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
- Communicate repair status updates with customers and the branch office.
- Communicate parts orders with the branch.
- Complete service calls accurately and in a timely manner.
- Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
- Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to company standards and safety requirements.
- Meet on-call requirements.
- A journeyman license and/or Commercial Food Equipment Service Association certification.
- Automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical experience.
