Requirements
  • Understanding of regulatory controls and requirements of the National Electrical Code, National Fire Protection Association, Air Quality Management District, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Steam Plant Operator License - Unlimited.
  • Possession of Environmental Protection Agency certification.
  • Ability to work overtime or alternate shifts as required to meet hospital needs.
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience.
  • Current State of California driver's license.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, shop drawings, and manufacturers' technical manuals.
  • Must be able to provide proof of work authorization in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, prioritize, coordinate, schedule, and review the operation, maintenance, and repair of the Steam Plant and associated equipment, including air conditioning and ventilating equipment.
  • Ensure completion of all preventive maintenance duties.
  • Maintain all appropriate records.
