Customs Brokerage Manager

Job Description

Scope of Position

• Ensure that Brokerage customers are well transitioned and served, leading a best in class operational team.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Actively develop business for departments through active involvement in sales and retention process and close coordination with sales department, as per the company and branch objectives.
• Manage implementation and ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures for client. Also, coordinate and manage SOP revisions and send updates to origins.
• Ensure that productivity and profitability goals for the CHB department are met
• Assist District Manager with preparation of annual department budget
• Meet monthly with District Manager to review department financials P&L and productivity results
   

Qualifications

• Proven Leadership Skills, Attitude and background.
• Strong Market and product Knowledge.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Proven negotiations skills
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Customs Brokerage License preferred. Can obtain while in role.
