  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of software development experience or master’s with 4 years of experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 1-year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
  • Experience with Agile principles to include Kanban, Scrum
  • Experience leading Software Engineering teams
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Experience in software development using languages such as C++, Python
  • Experience with MBSE, software design & requirement management
Responsibilities
  • The candidate will be responsible for assessing staffing needs, current as well as projected and working with the respective team leads to address those needs.
  • He/she will also be responsible for supporting recruitment activities including the creation of requisitions, conducting interviews, and approving offers.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for leading a team of system software engineers, providing guidance, and assigning work regarding the system software architecture & requirements of GNC software to ensure alignment with system architecture.
