Requirements
  • At least 5 years of professional work experience, including 3 years of consulting experience or comparable analytical experience in a directly relevant business role.
  • Experience in large, complex Federal government or other nationwide programs, preferably with a focus on grants and program management.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex environment while managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills, with strong leadership potential.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in person.
  • Technological proficiency, especially with Microsoft products and collaboration tools such as SharePoint.
  • Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area and travel to different locations.
  • U.S. citizenship only, with no dual citizenship; currently hold a Public Trust clearance or be able to obtain and maintain a position of trust or Federal security clearance.
  • Executive presence, leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, problem-solving skills, and interest in working in a consulting firm.
Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of tasks and workstreams that contribute to project goals and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Manage Federal grant programs, supporting awardees and client staff.
  • Analyze business problems using interviews, knowledge, context, and quantitative data to identify improvements in processes, organizational structures, and technology for high-priority client initiatives.
  • Work closely with clients and teams to build organizational knowledge and identify innovative, practical solutions.
  • Create high-quality work products and deliverables, including documents, presentations, and data dashboards, to support client decision-making.
  • Take on new responsibilities and learn the mission and business while maintaining attention to detail and exceeding client expectations.
  • Lead and support projects with a clear understanding of the consulting business.
  • Contribute to company service areas by building new skills, developing capabilities, and supporting new business efforts.
  • Contribute to a collaborative company culture that promotes learning and professional development.
  • Collaborate with clients to solve complex problems, deliver client service, and achieve mission results.
  • Apply consulting, business analysis, and communication skills to identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions.

  • Strong interest in developing as a consultant, increasing leadership ability, building project management knowledge, and learning business concepts.
