WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Our products rely on sophisticated real-time and batch processing of massive amounts of data and instrumentation to provide analytics, automated decision-making, and an industry-leading customer engagement tool.
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to be part of our Reliability team within our product and engineering organization. Our Reliability team aims to drive customer success by managing and advising operations within our product teams through cross-functional engagement, working through issues when they happen, and implementing solutions to increase resilience throughout our division.
You’ll take on various challenges around building and optimizing an ultrafast application for a massive scale, which sends billions of messages daily based on billions of data points. You’ll champion DevOps and SRE culture and lead reliability excellence on our teams.
WHO YOU ARE:
- 5+ years of development experience
- Experienced technical leader
- Experienced with implementing and overseeing observability
- Experienced in developing, debugging, and optimizing complex systems
- Knowledgeable with distributed and cloud systems
- A self-starter with great communication and organizational skills
Bonus:
- Professional experience building software at scale
- Professional experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Java, MongoDB, microservice architecture, and distributed systems
- Experience with agile processes
- Passionate about complex systems and performance
