Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required, concentration in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA), or enrolled in CPA program
  • SaaS industry experience required
  • Knowledgeable in general accounting principles
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a Financial Analyst role including financial modeling and reporting in MS Excel
  • Experience working with BI tools to access different data sources such as ERP, enterprise data warehouses and business support systems, and interpret relevant data. Prior experience using Tableau considered an asset

Responsibilities
  • Drive the annual budget and monthly forecasting process re: sales, revenues, expenses and headcount
  • Assist in the preparation of the short, medium, and long-range financial models, with projected company financial performance
  • Work as part of cross functional team to help enhance & create KPIs and reporting packages to management and leadership team using both financial and operational based metrics to support key business initiatives and decisions
  • Support management and leadership team on analytic reports based on historic revenue performance, across all industry verticals, product lines, and geographies on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Prepare complex analysis of Trulioo's financial and business performance. Also designs and implements ad hoc financial analysis, including but not limited to:
  • Analysis of sales bookings, revenue performance, and churn on segments and identifies trends in the business
  • Analysis of profitability (pricing, margins) of various product lines, business units and customers
  • Benchmarking financial metrics to industry norms
  • Strategic planning models reaching out 3-5 years
  • Maintain and track KPI's used for management and external reporting
  • Develop robust models to facilitate detailed sales and revenue planning
  • Assist with preparation of information in support of BoD presentations
  • Work directly with the rest of the finance team and other senior management (as a business partner) to provide specialized support for decision-making processes
  • Supports the rest of the finance team during the close and reporting process, driving internal processes to maintain and improve predictability of financial results
  • Collaborate with analysts in other departments so that any mutually beneficial data is shared
  • Other ad-hoc analysis as required from time to time
