ISEE AI designs and deploys autonomous yard trucks for logistics hubs and warehouses. Their vehicles use AI-driven driving systems to operate in dynamic yard environments, coordinating with people and other equipment to move goods efficiently. The trucks come from a combined hardware and software platform and are supported by installation, maintenance, and service contracts. Unlike broader autonomous vehicle players, ISEE AI focuses specifically on yard operations within distribution centers, aiming to cut downtime and labor costs and improve throughput. Built on MIT research, their approach models human driving behavior to handle unpredictable yard scenarios. Their goal is to make yard operations faster, safer, and more cost-efficient for logistics and warehousing customers.

By harnessing the power of AI, machine learning, and computer vision, ISEE has created and deployed a fully autonomous system that streamlines the yard movement of trailers and containers to reduce costs, improve safety, and give companies staffing predictability amidst ongoing labor shortages.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ISEE, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology for transportation and logistics, announced today the world’s first commercial fleet deployment of autonomous yard trucks at a Fortune 100 customer’s site. This cutting-edge deployment, located in Texas, represents a transition from pilots and testing to commercialization of autonomous yard trucks and ushers in a new era of safety, efficiency, and capacity for the supply chain. The autonomous truck yard represents a significant milestone in the advancement of transportation logistics. By harnessing the power of AI, machine learning, and computer vision, ISEE has created and deployed a fully autonomous system that streamlines the yard movement of trailers and containers to reduce costs, improve safety, and give companies staffing predictability amidst ongoing labor shortages. The deployment at the 1.7 million square foot distribution center, with 750 trailer staging bays, is the first of its kind using a fleet of autonomous yard trucks with the ability to operate across all shifts, day and night, rain or shine
ISEE unveils AI-Powered Trailer Auto-Coupling system.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--At the Manifest supply chain technology showcase, ISEE, a leading autonomous vehicle company, unveiled their fully-automated, AI-powered trailer auto-coupling system for autonomous yard trucks. ISEE’s industry-first technology autonomously couples the trailer and connects the airlines without any trailer modifications, adapters, markers, or remote control. The new patent-pending technology unlocks even more safety and efficiency benefits for ISEE customers. The new ISEE trailer auto-coupling system integrates a six-axis robotic arm on the back of the autonomous yard truck cab. Using AI-powered auto-coupling technology, the system autonomously identifies the precise locations and orientations of the trailer air connectors for both the service and parking brakes. Trailer air connectors, known as gladhands, vary in location, orientation and type from one trailer to another, making the process of finding the gladhands and attaching them a challenging task for a robotic system
