About The Role
As a member of Splunk’s Workforce Identity and Access Management (Workforce IAM) team, the Information Security Analyst will be responsible for processing IAM operational tickets and requests; designing and maintaining IAM operational documentation, process, and procedures; ensuring Splunk Security policies and standards are followed and assisting in the maintenance, deployments and implementation of various IAM solutions owned by Workforce IAM team.
Responsibilities
- Actively monitor Workforce IAM ticket queue, maintain SLA for response and resolution
- Manage daily operational activities for Active Directory and Okta
- Perform AD Administration including managing users, groups, computers and GPOs
- Onboard new applications behind okta for SSO and/or provisioning.
- Meet with application owners to troubleshoot issues or define a standard solution
- Assist as a resource in IAM project initiatives
- Build and update runbooks and documentation for tasks and duties (SOP)
- Monitor slack support channels and provide assistance or direction
- Perform maintenance of Windows servers. Monitoring, troubleshooting and patching OS
- Automate manual tasks or reporting using PowerShell
Requirements
- 3+ years of Information Security experience
- Technical knowledge of authentication/authorization, or identity management standards/protocols such as Kerberos/NTLM, LDAP, Azure Active Directory, Google Identity Services, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, WSFed and SCIM
- Understanding of Agile methodologies. Working within Jira. Being part of and running sprints
- Solid experience with Okta and Active Directory
- Familiar with Azure AD or other IdP providers
- Experience with Okta AD Sync Agent, IWA and Azure AD sync preferred
- Scripting or programming languages - Must have PowerShell experience. Bonus for Python, Java, Visual C, etc.

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out below, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and benefits, and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.

Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $107,200.00 - 147,400.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $96,000.00 - 132,000.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $80,000.00 - 110,000.00 per year
