Requirements
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stay organized, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills and familiarity with HR systems, with willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • Ability to solve problems with a focus on accuracy and maintain accountability for assigned work.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a point of contact for new hires and guide them through pre-employment and onboarding processes.
  • Support employee communications, reminders, surveys, and performance check-ins.
  • Maintain compliance documentation, including labor law updates, training tracking, and audit preparation.
  • Assist with state reporting requirements, such as new-hire reporting, and tax account management.
  • Liaise with state agencies, including Departments of Labor and Revenue, to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain organized documentation across systems, portals, and internal knowledge bases.
  • Support employer-branding initiatives and create and manage social media content promoting the company’s employer brand and culture.
  • Conduct pre-payroll audits of timesheets, paid time off, commissions, and bonuses before processing.
  • Support new benefits enrollments, assist employees with enrollment steps, and ensure accurate system updates.
  • Maintain and update human resources information system data, workflows, and reports, including Rippling.
  • Create and update documentation, internal resources, and knowledge-base pages.
  • Assist with cross-functional projects across Human Resources, Finance, and Compliance.
  • Ensure timely follow-up, organization, and execution of ongoing initiatives.
