Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Facilities or Office Management
  • Experience working in an office with labs is preferable
  • Comprehensive experience in workplace planning, physical security, procurement, vendor management, budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience working with building management and landlords, including office refurbishments, maintenance, and other small facilities related projects
  • Vendor Matrix management experience
  • Experience scaling in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Resourceful, proactive problem-solver with the ability to prioritize and self-manage
  • Ability to gather data, assess situations and quickly develop solutions with a strong analytical/financial aptitude
  • Comfort handling sensitive and or confidential information
  • Comfortable working in non-sedentary environment
Responsibilities
  • Provide office and site management support of 40,000sq. ft. office space and labs
  • Manage soft services programs and vendors, manage Day Porter, and matrix manage hard services vendor
  • Facilities SME and POC for onsite business partners, landlord day to day interface, facilities vendors, Vir employees, guests, and cross functional teams
  • Partner and align with local business teams, landlord, and vendors on business objectives with vertical reporting to Vir Real Estate Team
  • Provide effective communication to all business partners, support facilities budget development, and provide consistent quality outcomes
  • Provide occasional after hours support for emergencies or after hours needs
