Requirements
- The candidate must hold a Certified Public Accountant certification.
- Strong Big 4 experience is required.
- Education must be a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite or any large scale enterprise resource planning system with a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Authorization to work in the United States must be either United States Citizenship, a Green Card, or a valid Working Visa.
Responsibilities
- Handle rigorous month end and year end closing processes.
- Provide guidance to other team members.
- Lead consolidation.
- Review journal entries.
- Ensure the accuracy and reasonableness of key reconciliations under US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Ensure proper and timely completion of tax related filings.
- Manage outside audit and be the primary contact point for external auditors.
- Coach and mentor other junior team members.
