- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holder of a current Indiana nursing license in good standing.
- Ability to provide resident assessment and assist in developing and implementing each resident’s plan of care.
- Ability to maintain good emotional health and perform extended periods of standing, bending, and heavy lifting.
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude, including confidentiality, concern for all people, cooperation, and conscientious use of time.
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with facility standards, policies, and federal and state regulations.
- Supervise personnel and direct-care staff on the assigned unit to ensure residents’ needs are met.
- Provide total care for all residents on the assigned unit.
- Review daily nursing staff assignments to ensure duties are consistent with staff members’ abilities and training.
- Initiate and update nursing care plans for residents on the assigned unit.
- At least one year of experience in long-term care or a related field.
