Undergraduate Internship Program Overview- 

• Summer 2025, May to August, Undergraduate internship, within a functional area of MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from, before your program starts. to after the program ends.

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Supply Chain Intern at MKS, you will become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities. In this role, you will support the MA Supply Chain team, and you will also work with other MKS teams, such as: Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Production Control, Inventory Control, and Finance, etc. You will report to the Senior Manager of Production Control.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Running BI reports such as exception report, WIP (Work in Progress) age, and other critical reports

• Helping capture metrics for reports

• Collecting data and ability to present presentation of data

• Providing input and oversight of routings and planning BoM’s

Skills You Bring:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Business, or relevant majors

• Ability to work 20 hours a week, for the Summer 2025 (May to August) 

• US Citizenship is Required

• Analytical Skills

• Microsoft Office- Excel and PowerPoint

• Willing to Learn, a self-starter, everyday- bring your best

• Attention to Detail

• Understanding of supply chain basics

• Good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of BI Tools, such as IBM- BI (Business Intelligence)

• Understanding basics of ERP, Oracle or SAP, software

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.

We are interested in qualified candidates who are eligible to work in the United States. However, we will not be sponsoring work visas for this position, at this time.
