Requirements
  • A U.S. citizen is required.
  • Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information adjudication.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • At least 7 years of cyber or Intelligence Community analytic experience, including Target Digital Network Analysis and/or Digital Network Intelligence production.
  • Demonstrated experience mapping and assessing target digital networks, including nodes, identifiers, infrastructure, services, and communications paths, to support collection, access, and operational planning.
  • Proficiency interpreting network and host artifacts, including IP addresses, domains, URLs, certificates, email or handles, user-agent strings, and ports and protocols, and correlating data across multiple sources.
  • Strong working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including the Open Systems Interconnection and TCP/IP models, TCP/UDP, common protocols and services such as HTTP/S, DNS, SMTP, SSH, and VPNs, IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, and Classless Inter-Domain Routing.
  • Experience producing customer-ready analytic products, including target packages, network diagrams, technical assessments, and briefings, with clear sourcing and defensible judgments.
  • Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive mission production environment and coordinate with collection, exploitation, and reporting teams.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct analytical collaboration and cross-training with other signals intelligence analysts or organizations to cross-team and cross-level information, increase target continuity, and facilitate information sharing and analyst collaboration.
  • Understand the Open Systems Interconnection model, ports and protocols associated with telecommunications technologies, IPv4 and IPv6 networks, Classless Inter-Domain Routing, and common Internet protocols.
  • Document analytical tradecraft and target knowledge, create working aids to increase target continuity and facilitate information sharing and analyst collaboration, and prepare briefings and reports on analytical methodology and results.
  • Collaborate with a data scientist to automate analytical workflows and enrich data.
  • Solve complex intelligence analysis challenges using analytical judgment, critical thinking, and proven analytical practices.
  • Evaluate technical information on targets of interest and identify changes to technology or alternative means of communication.
  • Perform scientific and technical intelligence analysis, including reporting on trends and implications of military force structure or doctrinal changes and technical analysis of military systems.
  • Complete required National Security Agency courses NETA2402/NETA2108 (Target Digital Network Analysis II) and either the specified Basic Analytical Reporting courses or equivalent curriculum, plus RPTG4397 (Analytic Report Editing) or RPTG4398 (Report Releaser's Course).
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting National Security Agency production organizations, Service Cryptologic Components, and/or joint or Intelligence Community mission centers.
  • Familiarity with malware and command-and-control analysis, traffic analysis, and infrastructure attribution techniques, including pivoting across identifiers and services.
  • Experience with analytic tooling and workflows commonly used for network analysis, including link analysis, packet or flow analysis, log analysis, and graphing or visualization.
  • Relevant training or certifications, or equivalent experience, such as National Security Agency Digital Network Intelligence or Target Digital Network Analysis tradecraft courses and industry certifications including Security+, Network+, GCTI, GCIA, GCIH, or GSEC.
  • Experience briefing technical findings to non-technical audiences and operational decision-makers.
