Requirements
  • Recent or soon-to-be university graduate, or up to three years of business experience in leadership advisory, organizational development, and/or human behavior.
  • Strong academic performance with a minimum 3.4 GPA.
  • Experience with collecting and organizing information from databases and/or internet resources, and the ability to analyze and synthesize data into other formats.
  • Advanced research, analysis, and synthesis skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Possession of the work authorization necessary for the country in which the candidate is applying.
Responsibilities
  • Support advisory engagements by assisting with project management, developing client assessment reports, conducting 360-degree reference calls, and designing client workshop materials.
  • Provide research and conclusions for incorporation into client-ready documents.
  • Develop expertise with proprietary tools and facilitate client interactions with little oversight over time.
  • Provide accurate and timely data analysis and organizational behavior research.
  • Take ownership of the research process by anticipating next steps and supporting all phases of projects.
  • Reassess priorities and reprioritize workload to provide additional support to assignment teams.
  • Deliver commitments on time or notify the team early when problems occur or deadlines may slip.
  • Synthesize research for business development initiatives, Leadership Advisory Services assignments, and intellectual capital initiatives, providing succinct and accurate points of view.
  • Listen and ask insightful questions, gather relevant information using advisory tools and resources, and analyze and interpret researched facts before drawing conclusions.
  • Make decisions rapidly and use effective business writing to create succinct, client-ready analyses and document information.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders and candidates, adapting communication style to their needs.
  • Set expectations, clarify tasks, raise issues early, find solutions collaboratively, and share relevant information discreetly.
  • Develop understanding of tools spanning individual, team, and organizational levels and build knowledge of organizational behavior and individual effectiveness.
  • Identify and navigate internal tools, assessment data, market insights, internal and external content, and networks to generate insights and outcomes.
  • Seek feedback, pursue self-development, and modify performance or behavior based on feedback.
  • Participate in internal activities and engage with the office and practice.
  • Represent Spencer Stuart and conduct work consistently with the firm’s values and Code of Conduct.
