PPLSI provides subscription-based legal services through LegalShield and identity theft protection via IDShield for individuals, families, and small businesses mainly in the United States and Canada. Members pay a monthly fee to access a network of law firms for tasks such as contract review, will preparation, and traffic-ticket defense. Revenue comes from recurring memberships, with an additional channel through a multi-level marketing network where independent associates sell memberships and earn commissions on their sales and team sales. IDShield adds identity monitoring and privacy management to the offering. The company differentiates itself with a combination of ongoing legal access, an MLM distribution model, and bundled privacy/identity protection across personal and small business segments. Its goal is to provide affordable, predictable access to legal help and identity protection, expanding access to justice for individuals and small businesses.
