Dry Utility Project Manager

Bowman has an opportunity for a Dry Utility Project Manager to join our team in one of the offices in our DC Metro region.

Assist in application of administrative, technical, and managerial tasks to assigned utility projects to ensure their successful and timely completion within the allocated budget.

Leadership and Direction

• Receive broad guidance from senior-level management relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and general parameters for execution. Manage people and processes to ensure effective execution. Review work produced by staff for quality assurance.

At the Operational and Company Level

• Actively market the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing clients. 
• Represent project team in client communications and resolutions. 
• Help coordinate with other internal departments to meet project requirements.

• High School Diploma / GED required.   Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Ten or more (10+) years of dry utility-related experience, preferably in design and coordination of the installation of dry utilities for commercial, government, academic, R&D, multi-family, industrial and similar projects. Commensurate experience working for a dry utility provider in the Engineering, Operations, Program/Project Management, or similar divisions will be considered depending on the duties performed by the candidate.  
• Two or more (2+) years managing projects and people related to utility design and construction.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, or similar drafting/3D modeling software, and/or PDF software such as Adobe or BlueBeam.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Projects).
