Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years in an architecture role
  • Experience guiding Zero Trust Architecture solutions in enterprise environments
  • Deployment of Zero Trust solutions in cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
  • Expert knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), architecture frameworks, design patterns, and programming concepts
  • Significant experience working in a structured project delivery methodology
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, storage, and networking technologies
  • Working knowledge of Zero Trust best practices per NIST and CISA.
  • Experience working with SASE and Zero Trust solution from vendors including, but not limited to Cisco, Cloudflare, Palo Alto, Microsoft, Netskope, and Zscaler.
  • Ability to create, interpret, and present implementation-specific documentation such as Operational Viewpoint (OV), Systems Viewpoint (SV), and data flow diagrams to customers and executive leadership.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and integrating enterprise-scale systems and applications in Zero Trust environments
  • Experience in project management, including budget and timeline management
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Strong knowledge of An understanding of SD-Access, SD-WAN, CASB, MFA, SWG, FWaaS, and ZTNA components
  • Knowledge and application of architecture frameworks (e.g., DoDAF, NIST 800-207, SABSA, TOGAF, Zachman) are a plus
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business leaders and other stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and Zero Trust Architecture initiative.
  • Lead the design, development, and documentation of end-to-end technical solutions for complex business problems in partnership with the Program Manager, Lead Security Architect, and leadership.
  • Define and document solution architecture and roadmap, including identification of technical and functional components, data flow, and security requirements.
  • Lead the project planning process for the ZTA solution.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the implementation of the solution.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of business capability models.
  • Ensure that the solutions align with the organization's goals, budget, and timeline.
  • Partner in the strategic planning process, generating deliverables such as Capability Models, Capability Heatmaps, Capability Maturity Assessments, Capability Impact Assessments, Capability Health Assessments and Capability Roadmaps.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and provide recommendations for adoption of new technologies and tools.
  • Present recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Advocate and help drive adoption of “best practices” to ensure standardization of solution architecture outputs across the enterprise.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • SECRET Clearance is desired, or ability to clear Federal Entry of Duty
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CCZT, Forrester, GDSA, GSEC, ZTCA
  • Experience working in the Federal sector
