Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in modeling and simulation, computer science, mathematics, or another related field.
  • At least five years of relevant experience.
  • Must currently hold a Secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a baseline modeling and simulation analyst.
  • Access data, conduct modeling and simulation functions, and provide deliverables up to the Secret classification level.
  • Under supervision, conduct modeling and simulation functions or operations including exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction across health, environmental, transportation, law enforcement, military, and civil-agency fields.
  • Conduct modeling and simulation activities supporting government analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments, including information exchange and coordination for model capabilities, technical standards, interoperability and reuse, support planning, data and architecture management, configuration management, development and verification, validation, and accreditation.
  • Provide instruction on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises, and support live, constructive, or virtual training.
  • Use radio-frequency modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models that visualize global positioning system denial in potentially affected areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Apprentice Certified Modeling and Simulation Professional (CMSP) certification or equivalent.
  • Prior military simulation or wargame experience.
