  • Bachelor’s degree and up to 2 years relevant experience or equivalent combination
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective team member across teams
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects, manage events and special assignments
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and data management
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel
Responsibilities
  • Engage with prospective and current students and their families
  • Support, develop, and maintain Pathway Partnerships
  • Collaborate with strategic high schools, community-based organizations, and community colleges
  • Cultivate relationships with campus departments
  • Lead programs and address participant concerns through collaboration
  • Enhance students' access to college and create engagement initiatives
  • Build a peer mentoring program
  • Collaborate with the CALS Inclusive Academic Advising and Admissions teams
  • Participate in program planning and evaluation
  • Identify partnership opportunities and support admissions goals
  • Engage with the local community and coordinate campus initiatives
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in the social science or education
  • Prior experience counseling/advising undergraduates
  • Experience working with community-based organizations and pathway programs
  • Experience working with high school and undergraduate students
  • Experience working with transfer students and evaluating transfer credit
  • Demonstrated knowledge of issues affecting historically marginalized populations, including first-generation students, international students, veterans, and students with disabilities.
