Alumni Relations & Administrative Support Coordinator
The Varsity Club, an exclusive association for former Club Sport student-athletes, coaches, and staff, is seeking an Alumni Relations & Administrative Support Coordinator. This individual will play a key role in fostering strong relationships with alumni and enhancing their engagement with the University, Club Sports department, and their respective sports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Alumni Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for alumni, maintaining communication with former student-athletes, coaches, and staff, while fostering connections between alumni and current student-athletes.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with Club Sport coaches and various University departments to plan and coordinate alumni events, networking opportunities, and engagement initiatives.
- Development Support: Assist with Development initiatives such as Giving Day, donor engagement, and hospitality services. Support the outreach efforts by managing a portfolio of alumni donors, setting clear outreach metrics and goals, and contributing to fundraising activities.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Club Sports department, including P-Card reconciliations, general communications, and updates within the department, as well as other tasks assigned by senior leadership.
This role will report to the Assistant Athletic Director and will play a vital part in strengthening alumni relations and supporting the strategic development efforts of the Club Sports program.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse groups of individuals
- Event coordination experience and a passion for alumni engagement
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with various teams
- Prior experience in fundraising or donor engagement is a plus
The Alumni Relations & Administrative Support Coordinator will be an integral member of the Varsity Club team, contributing to the long-term success of alumni engagement and development initiatives.
