Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct industry experience in a production planning role
  • Excellent project skills and problem solving
  • Sound judgement and knows when to escalate issues and concerns of production projects
  • The ability to interact and communicate with members of the internal team
  • Great communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Microsoft Office skills a must
Responsibilities
  • Manages all aspects of production for assigned jobs from start to finish
  • Deliver products on time while ensuring we’re meeting client expectations and quality standards
  • Own all internal and vendor communications to ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded
  • Provide consultation to Sales, Customer Service and Clients on best production practices
  • Create a great customer experience by producing and delivering world-class print products
  • Coordinate outside vendor purchases in coordination with the Outsourcing Manager
  • Ensure all materials required for the job are accurately delivered within the appropriate time frame - paper, dies, cartons, etc...
  • Ensure each job is planned within the given budget while achieving quality, accurate production and on-time delivery
  • Attend internal meetings, bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the group whenever possible
  • Bring timely updates to the Production Manager of changes in schedules or specifications to jobs
  • Coordinate and communicate with department managers to ensure schedule and quality requirements are met
  • Ensure all proofs, draw downs and prototypes are of the highest quality and accuracy prior to delivering to the client
  • Assist with "Customer Ok’s" when clients are on-site, when needed
  • Review project costs to ensure billing accuracy
