Clinical Intern

[email protected] St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Clinical Intern to join our Echo Team. The Echo Sonographer Clinical Intern position provides hands-on clinical experience for students pursuing a career in echocardiography. This internship supports the development of practical skills in a patient-centered healthcare environment, allowing interns to apply academic knowledge in real-world clinical settings. Interns are exposed to innovative and emerging practices in cardiovascular imaging and patient care. The program also offers mentorship opportunities, fostering a collaborative learning environment that enhances both intern development and the teaching skills of experienced clinical staff. This role contributes to a dynamic and stimulating clinical setting focused on excellence in care, education, and professional growth.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 1-2 years of healthcare experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30-days of employment.
• Must be actively working toward certification/licensure in field of practice.
