Requirements
  • Modeling skills include patience and focus, as well as the ability to hold a variety of poses, which may include short, dynamic postures or extended poses lasting 20 minutes.
  • Models should be comfortable with sustained moderate physical activity over a 2h45 minute period.
  • Applicants who require visa sponsorship will not be considered.
  • Applicants must apply with a cover letter describing qualifications for the position, a Curriculum Vitae or resume, and contact information for three professional references.
  • Applicants should not send photos.
  • Appropriate background screening will be conducted for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
  • Art Life Models work for an entire studio class session. Studio class sessions are 2 hours and 45 minutes long and meet twice weekly.
  • Models are asked to hold a variety of poses at the direction of the instructor for varying lengths of time, up to 20 minutes at a time.
  • Most modeling is nude.
  • On some occasions models may be required to work for two consecutive classes.
  • Models are hired and placed in a pool to be pulled from as requested by faculty.
