Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in contracts / related field - OR - a Master's degree with 1 year of experience in contracts / related field - OR - 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with FAR/DFARS as well as experience with different contract types is required
  • Experience researching FAR/DFAR information.
  • Current DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in contracts / related field - OR - a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in contracts / related field - OR - 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with FAR/DFARS as well as experience with different contract types is required
  • Experience researching FAR/DFAR information.
  • Current DoD Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities
  • Reviewing terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification, and all other potential risk areas and recommending risk mitigation strategies.
  • Developing solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs under guidance from team lead and management.
  • Assisting management in achieving financial goals related to cash management and sales.
  • Preparing written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters.
  • Maintaining contract data into the Enterprise Accounting System.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of all contractual deliverables.
Desired Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with most recent periodic investigation having been completed in the last five years.
  • Experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense Industry.
  • Experience with USG and Prime customers.
  • Experience working restricted programs, proven ability to work in closed areas with moderate oversight.
