Requirements
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • A polite and professional manner is required.
  • A demonstrated commitment to embracing Field’s Core Values, Fieldamentals, and Mission Statement is required.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in a customer service and/or warehouse role with customer interaction is required.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team-based environment is required.
  • The ability and motivation to be successful with limited direct supervision is required.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers, including addressing conflicts and concerns to achieve desired results, is required.
  • The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly is required.
  • A valid driver’s license or the ability to be transported to customer locations as needed is required.
  • The ability to effectively serve as the face of Field to customers is required.
  • The ability to work extra hours as needed is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
Responsibilities
  • Commit to Field’s Mission Statement, Core Values, and Fieldamentals.
  • Serve as a primary customer contact by staging and delivering products within the customer’s facility, managing inventory levels, creating orders, and building positive customer relationships.
  • Repeatedly lift, carry, bend, and reach while handling cartons of product weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Work with the customer and company to resolve quality and delivery issues.
  • Seek additional opportunities at customer locations to expand Field’s existing business.
  • Maintain a clean and organized space for racks and bins and keep labels clean.
  • Participate actively in Field’s training programs to enhance product knowledge, system efficiency, and customer engagement skills.
  • Work with customer in-house representatives and Field account managers to ensure the system meets customer and Field expectations.
  • Use a portable scanning device to collect inventory data at client locations and report it to Field.
  • Interact with customer departments and personnel within customer businesses and Field.
  • Participate in the continual development and improvement of inventory management systems.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures at Field and customer locations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of fasteners.
  • Experience in industrial distribution, warehouse operations, or customer service.
  • Experience with Prophet 21.
