Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing FP&A functions
  • Experience within the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industry strongly preferred

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and refine the company's financial goals and long-term strategic plans
  • Lead the development and implementation of annual budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and accurate resource allocation
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and industry benchmarks to provide actionable recommendations for achieving financial targets
  • Create and manage comprehensive financial models to facilitate accurate forecasting of revenues, expenses, and cash flows
  • Provide regular variance analysis and insightful commentary on financial performance to senior management, highlighting key drivers and potential opportunities or risks
  • Drive initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of forecasting processes, leveraging technology and best practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as R&D, Sales, Operations, HR, and Marketing to provide financial insights that inform strategic decisions
  • Work closely with department heads to develop KPIs, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement or optimization
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders, offering financial expertise to guide resource allocation and investment decisions
  • Manage and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members, empowering them to excel in their roles
