Who are we hiring?

The Westchester Knicks are seeking an engaging and dynamic In-Arena Host to be the in-game personality for all home games during the 2024-25 NBA G League season. This role is key to creating an exciting and interactive atmosphere by assisting with on-court contests and promotions. The In-Arena Host may also be involved in hosting special events and community engagements as needed. This position reports directly to the Manager of Event Presentation.

The Westchester Knicks play 24 home games at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY. Background checks will be administered through Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. and the NBA.

What will you do?

Serve as the live, in-arena host for all Westchester Knicks home games, engaging fans and creating an exciting atmosphere.

Execute promotional elements, including on-court contests and in-crowd moments, to keep the audience entertained.

Improvise during live on-court elements such as t-shirt tosses and fan pump-up moments to maintain high energy.

Represent the Westchester Knicks at special events, viewing parties, promotional engagements, and community appearances.

Collaborate with the Event Presentation team to ensure seamless integration of promotional activities.

Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager of Event Presentation.

What do you need to succeed?

Showcases an energetic and outgoing personality, with the ability to think quickly while working in a high-pressure environment.

Displays a strong on-camera presence with the ability to deliver both scripted and improvisational content in front of large crowds.

Previous experience in hosting is a plus; a background in live performance is encouraged.

Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with fans of all ages.

Passion for basketball and being a Knicks fan is highly desirable.

All submissions require a highlight reel and resume to showcase relevant experience.

Special Requirements

Available to work nights and weekends, with a start time 2 hours before game time.

Must be available to work all Westchester Knicks home games.

Flexibility to attend special events, promotional engagements, and community appearances as needed.

Hourly Pay Range

$35—$35 USD
