Requirements

Infrastructure Management experience in a complex and diverse environment including Azure and AWS cloud environments
Experience with monitoring platforms and configuration management systems
Experience in working alongside software development teams following a DevOps approach
Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Arm Templates)
Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Experience of working with Windows and Linux Servers, Active Directory, SAN, Networks
Strong technical documentation skills; workflows, architectural diagrams, support documentation

Responsibilities

Defining, planning, and delivering the strategic infrastructure platform in line with the infrastructure roadmaps
Managing suppliers effectively, forming partnerships and ensuring they adhere to the agreed SLAs and performance metrics
Ensuring that the cloud platform is managed effectively defining and operating best practice processes to run and operate the cloud platform providing a performant and secure platform
Develops, evolves, and adapts innovation tools, processes, and infrastructures to drive the process of innovation

The role

This is an exciting time to join ION where you will be joining a rapidly growing Infrastructure team with ample opportunity to make your mark quickly. As the expert in Cloud and Cloud-Hybrid Infrastructure, you are responsible for implementing new technologies, programs, and products. Your responsibilities will include leadership, mentoring, and developing the Cloud infrastructure function. You will manage multiple projects. Monitor, maintain, and report on hosted systems. Ensure the Security Posture of the IT systems and Maintain Compliance with company standards.

The successful candidate will have a track record on providing technical guidance and expertise on cloud solutions design, build, governance, security, operations, and cost control best practices.

Key Responsibilities
