Vice President – QA Lead

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks an Vice President, QA Lead in Arlington, Virginia

Perform quality assurance software processes with heavy focus on managing the execution of automation with various automation tools and techniques. Contribute to Automation Frameworks, and automate test cases ensuring comprehensive automation coverage. Develop utilities and customized software frameworks aligning with DevOps practices. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate software test and automation activities independently. Track test metrics, including test coverage, defect densities, and open defect counts, to gain and share insights about quality issues. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well structured software test plans and test cases following company standards within required timeframes.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $186,000 and $186,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Employer will accept any foreign 3- or 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field of study or five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Software Engineer, Test Engineer, Analyst Programmer, or related occupation in the technology field. Requires one (1) year of experience with: Automation technologies including Selenium and JMeter; Scripting languages including Python; Kafka and cloud-based application architecture and principles. Requires two (2) years experience with: Zephyr. Requires five (5) years of experience with: Java; API testing and automation; Test management software including ALM, and Jira; SQL queries for databases or large datasets; working with XML,XSLT and SOAP, and JSON formats; Agile methodology and Devops; Integrating automated tests in Continuous Integration; Delivery pipeline.
