  • Ensure the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, resourcing and budgets in collaboration with project technical leaders and cross-functional members of teams
  • Instill a culture of operational excellence, including ensuring optimal meeting structure, conduct and outputs, decision making, risk assessment, risk management and lessons learned
  • Identify and champion Project Management and Portfolio Development best practices, including the use of dashboards, templates, tools, and processes to drive efficiency, alignment, decision making, and communication - all leading to effective planning and execution
  • Leverage project and organizational knowledge, leadership, and facilitation skills to enable the Program and Portfolio Management Team to drive alignment, collaboration, and accountability within the project teams and across corporate functions, resulting in achievement of company and program goals
  • Oversee management and facilitation of governance committees for the development portfolio; regularly review and as needed, partner with leadership to optimize governance processes
  • Drive portfolio level program planning, including cross-functional resource planning, financial, and capacity assessments; contribute to long-range and budgetary planning
  • Ensure effective communication of project and portfolio planning information to the broader organization in partnership with corporate communications
  • Lead program and portfolio communication and reporting in partnership with executives and functional leaders, this includes developing and delivering monthly dashboards and program and portfolio reviews to the Executive Team, key business partners, and the Board of Directors. This covers pipeline content, portfolio metrics, development and portfolio reporting across all Therapeutic Areas and platform programs
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced degree preferred, MS/PhD or MBA
  • Experience with software development or machine learning projects a significant plus
  • Prior experience in program, portfolio and project management experience across pre-clinical, clinical, CMC, quality, regulatory affairs, and commercial functions
