About the opportunity:
The Shutterstock team is seeking an experienced individual to lead our marketplace product teams by building digital experiences and offerings that attract and gratify customers and drive key business outcomes. This person will own the product strategy for a huge part of the company’s growth engine and will have the opportunity to redefine and evolve Shutterstock and its core brand’s value proposition and re-establish product market fit in an evolving landscape.
We seek a passionate, driven leader. A person who can take ownership of, evangelize and deliver upon a roadmap that drives our sites to new levels of consumer acquisition and engagement. You must be able to interface with clients with distinct needs and clearly synthesize opportunities into a product vision with measurable milestones. You will have oversight of a product management team and will determine the roadmap and priorities for an engineering organization dedicated to your teams. You will be responsible for developing a strategic vision and delivering site experiences and feature sets that enable that vision.
You will be responsible for working with key stakeholders (GM, Sales, Marketing, Content) across multiple Shutterstock brands to set goals, and driving us to execution. The ideal candidate is collaborative in their approach to internal stakeholders, while simultaneously and vigorously championing the consumer experience and driving your team to deliver on bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly goals. The day to day:
Leads, develops, and manages a group of product management professionals of all levels
Sets and manages a portfolio of work with measurable results for each team in their division
Aligns division impact to growth drivers in the annual budget by working closely with general managers and operators
Tracks, communicates, escalates, and resolves risks and opportunities
Attracts, develops, and retains top functional talent, including tight partnership with HR to operate an environment of rigorous calibration, performance management, and employee engagement
Leads through both hard line management as well as through influence, ultimately aligning their division around a set of work and impact
What you’ll bring to the role:
Demonstrated experience driving commercial outcomes in a product leadership capacity
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence in a cross-functional environment
7+ years experience in Business, Product or related discipline in a tech driven organization. Ecommerce experience is strongly preferred
Any of these would be a bonus:
Experience in establishing product market fit in either ecommerce or content landscape
Experience managing multiple brands/roadmaps

The compensation package offered may vary depending on employment experience, skills, and knowledge. You may also be eligible for our generous benefits package including health, wellness and financial benefits. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of the location(s) below may differ based on the cost of labor, market, and additional factors.
The pay range for this position is below:
• 225,000 - 265,000 per year in New York
Note: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but are also eligible for annual incentives.
