Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction safety management, with a focus on renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies for solar energy construction projects.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide safety training and education to employees and contractors.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and trends.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to construction safety.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • This position may require travel to various construction sites.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
