Requirements
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in an in-house legal department or corporate law firm.
  • Experience supporting global or highly regulated organizations is preferred.
  • The role requires fluency in artificial intelligence and data concepts, including critically evaluating artificial intelligence outputs, improving workflows using approved tools, identifying and mitigating bias or inaccuracies, and communicating artificial-intelligence-driven insights clearly and responsibly.
  • Proficiency with legal technology tools and the ability to navigate and configure different technology platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities to accomplish tasks in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Global Legal team, focusing on intellectual property operations by developing, documenting, maintaining, and improving legal processes, workflows, policies, and operational frameworks.
  • Administer core legal technology platforms, including legal matter management and billing tools, and optimize them for utilization, integration, adoption, and accurate, complete, and reliable records and data that support artificial-intelligence readiness.
  • Identify opportunities to use technology tools to improve efficiency, standardization, and knowledge management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggest opportunities to use available technology and artificial-intelligence tools to automate and optimize workflows, drive adoption of implemented processes, and measure compliance.
  • Assist with identifying, tracking, and reporting performance metrics and progress against team goals.
  • Monitor and analyze legal budgets and spending for trends, forecasts, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist with managing relationships with outside counsel and vendors, evaluate vendor processes, and recommend improvements or alternatives to optimize value and consistency.
  • Contribute to knowledge management by documenting best practices, templates, and guidance materials.
  • Support legal initiatives, including training, compliance activities, and strategic projects, to support the leadership of the Global Legal team.
