Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience with mechanical systems, electrical systems and controls, piping systems, and pneumatic systems is required.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and working with electrical control systems, including motors, motor controls, variable frequency drives, relays, and sensors.
  • Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial piping systems, including valves, fittings, pumps, and associated equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in the safe and effective operation of hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and other tools commonly used in maintenance environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, manuals, and equipment documentation.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, including steam sterilizers, ovens, pumps, kettles, piping systems, electrical controls, and related utility systems.
  • Respond to equipment failures and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities according to established procedures.
  • Process, complete, and document assigned work orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
  • Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, site policies, and required training programs.
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout, Personal Protective Equipment, safety, and housekeeping requirements.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Work effectively in an aseptic manufacturing environment while following established procedures.
  • Maintain respiratory protection qualification as required for assigned duties.
  • Process daily work orders and preventive maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading production, facility, and laboratory equipment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience operating machine shop equipment, including lathes and milling machines.
