Job Duties / Required Qualifications

• Documentation, electronic entry, filing or reporting of production activities daily
• Compile total production activities for year-end regulatory reports
• Understand and follow all safety policies, company policies and procedures
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and / or collaborate with a team
• Computer software proficiency such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Adobe, etc.
• Assess production operations and recommend improvements
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and adapt to changes
• Ability to train and work with staff at various production levels
• Research and understand manufacturing processes and materials
• Write internal manufacturing and packaging instructions
• An understanding of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals is preferred but not required.
• Participate in audits and inspection such as ISO, Department of Agriculture, customer, etc...
• Participate in daily or weekly production meetings as well as in person or digital meetings with customers
• Review customer orders, Bill of Material, customer’s product manuals/packaging specifications, SDS to issue internal manufacturing instructions.
• Review and check executed production and packaging instructions for accuracy and quality. Maintain and archive files physically and electronically.
• Any number of jobs other than what is described in this basic classification

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Regular business hours, although may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines or to respond to internal and external requests.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• May be required to remain seated for prolonged periods.
• Required to walk the plant area on a regular basis
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30lbs.
• May be required to descend/ascend stairs regularly
• May require bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and pushing.
